On the 22nd of November, the Office for Science and Technology – Embassy of France to Japan and CNES held a one-day conference in Tokyo on the theme « How to make space our home ». Pr. Antoine Le Duigou gave a keynote lecture on his top-down Biomimetic approach to develop 3D/4D Printed innovative Composites.
Supported by JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and the Société franco-japonaise des Techniques Industrielles, this event took part in the Nihombashi Space Week and gathered approximately 20 researchers from universities and public research centers as well as industrial actors who exposed to the public the remaining challenges to address to establish a sustainable life in space.
A great opportunity to meet leading players from the space industry and academic experts, as well as to meet astronaut HOSHIDE Akihiko who gave us his account of life on the ISS and shared details at the event organised by the Office for Science and Technology – Embassy of France in Japan.
