Our research group was pleased to participate in ECCM 2026 in Oslo, one of the leading international conferences in the field of composite materials, with four team members contributing four oral presentations.
This event provided an excellent opportunity to share our latest research at the intersection of advanced composites, additive manufacturing, metamaterials, and bio-inspired design:
• 4D printing of composite materials: Opportunity for disruptive functions
• Adaptive by design: 4D-printed metamaterials inspired by marine life
• From Limitation to Function: Toward Localized 4D-Printing Control for Morphing Complex Multi-Material Composite Part
• 3D printing of bio-inspired multi-composite material for energy dissipation in coastal environments
Beyond presenting our work and co-chairing a session, ECCM 2026 offered a stimulating environment to engage with the international composites community, exchange ideas, explore emerging research directions, and foster new collaborations.
