Pierre-Louis Pichard wins the annual SAMPE PHD competition, which took place on Friday 31 May at the IRT Jules Verne, with his work, funded by the European Space Agency – ESA, on bio-inspired materials from partially lunar resources.7 candidates in the second year of their thesis came from all over France to present their work to a jury made up of industrial members. He will have the opportunity to present his work to you at SAMPE Technology Days in November. Pierre-Louis is supervised by Ugo Lafont (ESA), Laurent Maheo (IRDL-Saint-Cyr), Justin Dirrenberger (PIMM) and Antoine Le Duigou (Bionics – IRDL)
