We were delighted to welcome David Correa, Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture to the Bionics Group for an inspiring day of scientific exchange and discussion. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share ongoing research, discuss emerging challenges in biomimicry and programmable materials, and explore future collaborative perspectives at the crossroads of architecture, materials science, digital fabrication, and sustainable innovation. These exchanges reinforce the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing next-generation adaptive and bio-inspired materials. Beyond the scientific discussions, the visit also offered valuable opportunities for informal interactions and for discovering some of Brittanyโs unique cultural and culinary specialties.
